The Challenge
The main goal was to prepare a Proof of Concept (PoC) on the Azure platform using Azure Devops for the CI/CD process for one of the applications.
The Solution
Due to the number of regulations and requirements regarding the documentation of every change inside the financial institutions we decided that GitOps would be the best solution here. This tool ensured that all modifications in all resources can be easily monitored and revised.
Selecting Azure DevOps enabled us to fully automate the whole process of creation and configuration of all the elements of the infrastructure as well as the process of building the application itself.
The Adoption of Azure DevOps let us implement approval checks before any adjustment was deployed in the environment.
The Results / The Outcome
Presented Proof of Concept (PoC) proved public cloud to be a suitable solution for the financial institutions with the adoption of highest security standards.
